Madison McClellan

Madison McClellan is an HR Generalist with a nontraditional path to higher education and a passion for helping people build lives they are proud of. A 2024 Gilbert Scholarship recipient, she is passionate about foster youth advocacy and women’s rights, and she carries those values into both her work and everyday life. Madison is an alumna of Cape Fear Community College and the University of North Carolina Wilmington. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, visiting coffee shops around Wilmington, and spending time with her cat, Skittles.


Risa Moore

Risa Moore has 10+ years of IT and finance experience in the banking and manufacturing fields. She has a computer science degree from UNC Wilmington. She has served on the IT Women’s Council, which focuses on professional women in IT, the American Women’s Network, which celebrates and connects professional women, and the Sustainability Network, which works to make office spaces more environmentally friendly.  Risa is the Gilbert Scholarship accounting and IT Guru, the queen of spreadsheets, and keeps everyone on track with budget goals. Risa has also volunteered for Meals on Wheels and the Raleigh Soup Kitchen. She enjoys running, yoga, gardening, soccer, and reading. She lives in her own urban bliss in Raleigh, NC with her husband, Matt, daughter, Adeline, and her 4 super hens, Pepper, Basil, Chili and Ginger.


Sarah Vidrine

For over 25 years, Sarah Vidrine has worked to promote opportunity for children, young people, and families. Her career has included direct service, systems reform, and policy advocacy/organizing for a variety of local, state, and national nonprofits. She currently works as a lead writer for the Capacity Building Center for States project within ICF Consulting and serves as secretary on the Invictus Bakery board of directors.  Sarah enjoys crocheting, reading, and hanging out with her adult children. She lives in Wilmington with her husband, Dominique and two sweet dogs, Ellie and Pearl.
